- Dear Bidder,The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.Below is a summary of the work to be performed.Development of a tool/platform to systematically track and analyse public discourse, media coverage, institutional pronouncements related to macroeconomic and labour market trends and policies across the African continent or related Africa. The tool is tentatively called "ILO Africa Macroeconomic and Labour Market Monitor (ILO/AMLM)". The work entails appropriate in use tuning, recording and classification, database and dashboard functionalities and related documentation.The task also includes the review, perform data cleaning and restructuring for the ILO/SPM dataset including simplification and restructuring in preparation for GenAI automatic data entry, and assistance with technical documentation and knowledge transfer, in close collaboration with statistics team of PFACTS unit of SOCPRO department. The External Collaborator is will also collect/support data collection for a development of a database and dashboard for key social justice indicators.
